Hillsboro – Mrs. Elizabeth Hesler, 89, formerly of Rt 1, Hillsboro died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Golden Manor Nursing Home, Ladoga. Born near Veedersburg she attended VHS. A lifelong resident of this area, she lived at Rt 1 Hillsboro before moving to the home. In 1944 she was married to Fred Hesler, who died in 1962. Surviving are a son, Clifford Oilar of Denver, Colo; one daughter, Mrs. Thryanza Hesler of Rt 1, Hillsboro; two stepsons Elmer Hesler of Rt 1, Hillsboro and Berle Hesler of Mount Vernon; and a stepdaughter, Mary Olive Newton Rose Hill, Va.
